Delete my SETR account

Two ways to do it. Both erase all of your data, permanently.

Option 1 — From the app (immediate)

  1. Open SETR.
  2. Go to Settings, then Account.
  3. Choose Delete my account.
  4. Confirm.

Deletion is immediate and irreversible. No grace period, no way to reactivate.

Option 2 — By email (if you no longer have the app)

Send a message to privacy@setr.app with the subject “Account deletion”.

Write from the email address linked to your account — that's how we can check the request really comes from you. If you used Apple's “Hide My Email”, write from the Apple relay address you received, or mention it in your message and we'll guide you.

Your request is processed within 30 days at most, with an email confirmation once the data is erased.

This is permanent. Your entire training history disappears: sets, weights, progress, cycles. There is no backup we could give back to you afterwards. If you want to keep a record, first ask for a copy of your data at privacy@setr.app.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and your sign-in identifier.
  • Your profile: first name, age, height, weight.
  • Your social profile, followers, follows, blocks, reports, the workouts you shared, your kudos, your comments, your private messages, your group messages, your group memberships and your cycle links.
  • Your entire training history: logged sets, weights, reps, dates.
  • Your custom cycles and your progress in the current cycle.
  • All your settings: per-exercise rest times, number of sets, plates, notification preferences.
  • Your push notification token.
  • Your subscription record at RevenueCat.
  • Your feedback (bugs and suggestions) and the record of the promo codes you used.

What is kept, and for how long

Nothing that could identify you again. Two limited technical exceptions:

  • Encrypted backups — database backups may contain your data for up to 30 days after deletion, while they rotate normally. They are neither accessed nor used.
  • Technical logs — server logs (timestamp, response code) are kept for at most 30 days for security and diagnostics, and contain no training data.

What about Apple and Google?

Your subscription is not canceled when you delete your account: it is billed by Apple or Google, who will keep renewing it. Cancel it in the subscription settings of your Apple or Google account. If you subscribed on setr.app, cancel it first through the management link in the confirmation and renewal emails, or by writing to contact@setr.app.

If you signed in with Apple, deleting from the app also revokes SETR's access to your Apple Account. In other cases, you can revoke that access yourself:

  • Apple — Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → SETR → Stop Using Apple Account.
  • Google — myaccount.google.com/connections → SETR → remove access.

And if you no longer use the app, remember to uninstall it from your phone: it keeps a local cache of your latest workouts.

A question before you go?

If you're deleting your account because of a problem, tell us first: contact@setr.app. It might be fixable.
